Vice chancellor Nasarawa state university keffi, professor Suleiman Bala Mohammed has been commended for pursuing the tenets of making the university indeed a world class university.

Making this commendation by the director of linkages Associate professor

K”tso Nghargbu stated that the free hand giving to his department by the vice_chancellor chancellor to operate have yielded substantial results as recently they embarked  upon a journey to Poland were a collaboration between NSUK and the polish university  were met and concluded which shall bring the overall development to Nasarawa state in the areas of mining.

Associate professor k”tso Nghargbu revealed that Nasarawa state is the base of mining in Nigeria full of solid mineral deposit.

He said their mission to Poland alongside with the university management yielded positive results as they returned from Poland with two Memorandum of understanding (MOU)such as the National Research Mining institute in Poland, Mining Safety Operations all geared towards healthy mining in the state.

He said when the Memorandum of understanding is fully operational it would impact positively on technology which would make mining more profitable.

Commenting on the visitation of the team from the Nigerian university commission (NUC)he said they are expecting full accreditation in the department of chemistry and geology because they expect things to improve positively in the institution.

“We also have contact in so many African countries,Australia  we shall sign memorandum of understanding as soon as possible. “

Associate professor k”tso Nghargbu also informed that his department linkages  essentially network ,connect and attract foreign investment locally and internationally for the well being of the university.

He said the department of linkages are also the platform to improve students exchange for research,fellowships, internship etc,basically to make the university to improve in high network for her service delivery within the system.

“We create opportunities for scholarships for staff using linkages to network with similar academic institutions. “
