Theme: Sanctification and Holiness – The Holy God, A Holy People
The 2026 Annual Back to Bible International Conference was held at NIFEST Camp, Kwali, Abuja, from 6th–10th April 2026.
Ministering was Brother Michael Thomas Sambo, Founder of Global Revival of Holiness Ministry Worldwide.
Taking his lead Scripture from John 17:17, “Sanctify them through thy truth,” he taught that sanctification is distinct from salvation and stated that sanctification and holiness remain foundational teachings of the ministry.
He described Enoch, who walked with God in sanctification, explaining that his holy walk pleased God and distinguished him from the corruption of his generation.
He emphasized that in today’s world filled with sin, holy living requires continual sanctification.
Brother Michael Sambo also referred to John Wesley as a sanctified man of God who endured difficult personal circumstances while remaining committed to the Gospel.
He taught that through Christ’s redemptive work at Calvary (Romans 8:3), believers are called into a sanctified and holy life.
One of the key statements made during the conference was:
“Consecration is man’s act, while sanctification is God’s work.”
Consecration was described as presenting one’s body as a living sacrifice unto God.
Teaching continued on the understanding of both human and divine aspects of sanctification, with Psalm 51 referenced as an example of divine cleansing.
Believers were encouraged to avoid relationships and associations that could hinder spiritual growth and sanctification.
Reference was also made to Leviticus 19:2, 1 Peter 1:16, and 1 Thessalonians 5:24, emphasizing God’s call:
“Be ye holy; for I am holy.”
Believers were reminded that they have been called out of the world and should reflect holiness in conduct, behavior, and lifestyle.
The promises of renewal were connected with Ezekiel 36:25–26, highlighting God’s promise to cleanse and transform hearts.
