The so-called interview circulating online lacks institutional backing and does not represent the collective position of the respected Fulani community across Nasarawa West or the state at large. Individuals seeking attention should not be mistaken for legitimate spokesmen of an entire people.
On the matter of the Sharon vehicles, credible Fulani leaders can attest that the vehicles were duly handed over as promised. If any individual claims ignorance of this fact, the issue lies not with the Senator but with internal communication within the group. It is unfair and misleading to describe a fulfilled promise as a “hollow gesture” simply to score cheap political points.
Similarly, the narrative regarding motorized boreholes is a distortion of reality. Community-based projects often follow administrative and technical processes, and where delays occur, responsible leaders resolve them. The issues raised have since been addressed. Senator Wadada has never been known to abandon projects or leave communities stranded after making commitments.
It must also be stated clearly that Senator Wadada’s political journey has never been built on betrayal or opportunism. Across party lines and political seasons, he has maintained a reputation for strategic thinking, resilience, and capacity to mobilize resources for development.
