Chief Simon Shango has been described as a trail blazer and a media icon who shaped journalism profession in Nigeria.

Making this assertion at the book launch  and autobiographyof this octogenarian journalist at yaradua centre Abuja at the weekend.

Dr Ater Simon a gubernatorial aspirant under the ruling All progressive Congress (APC) said chief Simon Shango was one of the pillars of our democracy in Nigeria.

Dr.Ater Simon said  he would transform benue state to become the Industrial hub of Africa in agronomics.

He called on his people to vote APC in all levels of election come 2027.
