PROVOST COLLEGE OF HEALTH TECHNOLOGY APPRECIATES GOVERNOR SULE ON NEW LOCATION
Provost of College of Health Science and Technology Keffi,Alhaji Suleiman Abdullahi have appreciated The Executive Governor of Nasarawa State Engr.A.A Sule for his Kind gestures in upgrading the former school of health technology now to College of Health Science and Technology.
Making this appreciation remarks to his Excellency on the occasion of the facility tour of the new School permanent site at keffi at the weekend said he is optimistic that His Excellency the Governor will upgrade the institution to a full-fledged university in the nearest possible time.
Alhaji Suleiman Abdullahi said with the visit of his Excellency to the permanent site,his policy statement on the desired agreement between the state owned universal basic education board.(SUBEB) and the management of the College of Health Science and Technology he has no doubt that all the grey areas must be strictly adhered to,within the shortest possible intervals.Meanwhile
NBTEACCREDITS COLLEGE OF HEALTH SCIENCE KEFFI
National Board For Technical Education (NBTE) have accredited three courses at college of health science and technology keffi.
The provost of the school made this disclosure in an interview with SAVANNA EXPRESS MAGAZINE AND ONLINE.
The Provost said with the accreditation the school shall award ordinary National Diploma and Higher National diploma respectively.

The Management of the College of Health Science and Technology is working towards the upgrade of its structures and academic standards to reflect its present status in line with the provisions of the enabling laws establishing the institution.
The sole Administrator of the college Alhaji SULEIMAN ABDULLAHI made the disclosure in an interactive session with newsmen in his office during the week about the activities of the college.
He stated that efforts were made since the last administration of Governor Umaru Almakura to upgrade the status of the school to a college adding that in the process all the enabling laws were duly passed by the state’s House of Assembly.
According to him, with the upgrade of both its structures and academic activities reasonable results were now being recorded as the college now records over 94 percent as against only 40 percent adding that such can be directly attributed to the efforts put in place by the management with the full support and cooperation of the state government.
On the issue of staff placement, the Sole Administrator explained that every staff is being placed in his appropriate position he or she deserves.
He then debunked the rumour making the rounds that during his absence for medical vacation the college was shut down saying that even when he came in he met a substantive Vice Principal whom he handed over everything under his care as such at no time the college was shut down as insinuated.
